PRIVATE CLASSES POLICIES & RULES


In order to continue to provide a fun and safe experience for all of our swimmers, there are a few policies and procedures at Camp Olympia ASAP that must be followed. Please take a moment to read the following, and help make this session another safe and happy experience for all of our swimmers. We look forward to seeing all of you at the pool!




ENROLLMENT

Registration for private swim classes is valid for the duration of a swim session or prorated at pre-scheduled dates. The class dates are provided in the registration form or through email.For enrollment in a semi-private class, swimmers must be of the same swimming level and close in age.

To re-enroll for the next set of private classes, please notify the office at info@allsportsforallpeople.net before your last confirmed class.

PAYMENTS/FEES

The cost of one private class is $75, and for a semi-private class, it is $125.

Each set of classes represents a commitment, and payments must be made in full prior to the start date.

ABSENCES

Due to the high demand for private lessons, NO REFUNDS or CREDITS will be offered for missed classes.

If your instructor is absent, we will provide a substitute if available, or you may opt to try a group class free of charge.

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS

You can cancel private lessons at any time by notifying the office via email or calling 718-748-7084. A refund for the unused number of classes will be issued.


GENERAL POOL RULES

  1. Swimming is permitted only during class hours and under the supervision of an instructor.
  2. Personal belongings are the sole responsibility of their owner. Please ensure your items are locked or secured.
  3. Running is strictly prohibited in the pool area.
  4. Diving is not allowed.
  5. Food or beverages are not permitted in the pool area.
  6. Parents may wait for classes to start or for their children to return at either end of the pool.
  7. Parents must accompany and supervise their children in the pool area at all times.
  8. The pool at John Jay High School is maintained at 80 – 83 degrees by the custodial staff. Maintenance of all pool facilities is conducted by a private company under contract with the NYC Department of Education and is not under the control of Camp Olympia ASAP.
