Caregiver Levels – Ages 6 months to 36 months
Water Angels/Water Tots (6 – 36 Months)

For ages 6 months – 36 months with their parent or caregiver.
Through songs, fun and instructional games, students learn to be comfortable in the water & learn basic water skills. *Adult must accompany child in the water*

For ages 2.5 -6 years old with their parent or caregiver.
Class goal: Water adjustment, learn basic swimming skills. Children go in the water with a flotation belt and the grown ups are in the water to help the children while being led by the teacher to learn how to kick, blow bubbles, water adjustment, float and swim. This class is for children who are not quite ready to go in the water without their caregiver.

For ages 3-7 years old. This class is for children who swim independently front crawl without a flotation device and take a breath ( rythmic breathing ) and keep swimming.
Class Goal: Swim independently; strengthen rhythmic breathing; freestyle arms; and kicking techniques. Learn backstroke kick.
Catfish (3-7 years) can swim independently half the width of pool

For ages 3-7 years old. This class is for children who

Class Goal: Swim independently; strengthen rhythmic breathing; freestyle arms; and kicking techniques. Learn backstroke kick.
For ages 7-16. For non-swimmers or who have very little experience with swimming.
Class goal: Learn front crawl technique; flutter kick, arms and face in the water and rhythmic breathing. Swim half the length of the pool independently ( 10 yards).
For ages 7-16. For swimmers who can swim half a pool length. ( 10 yards)
Class goal: strengthen kick front and back crawl, be able to swim full length of the pool with face in and out , begin to learn rotary breathing, build basic endurance, swim in deep water, and swim one length of the pool front crawl.
Swordfish Can swim length freestyle and backstroke properly –

For advanced swimmers that swim 2 lengths of the pool front crawl and backstroke with proper technique.
Class goal: develop endurance, speed, strength, perfect front crawl, backstroke technique with starts and turns. Learn breaststroke , dolphin kick and perfect diving and tread water for 1 minute
For ages 7-16. Swimmers should have prior knowledge of front crawl, backstroke, breast stroke and butterfly kick ( dolphin kick) and be able to swim 20 yards of each stroke except butterfly.
Class goal: learn butterfly stroke, improve breaststroke and continue to perfect freestyle and backstroke. Work on diving and starts and turns.
(13- 16 year kids may contact the office to see if adult classes would be appropriate)
Adult Level 1

For non-swimmers, swimmers with fear of the water.
Class goal: water adjustment, learn to be comfortable with the water environment, learn basic skills of front crawl, submerge head under the water, learn rhythmic and rotary breathing, and swim the width of the pool.
For swimmers who can swim half the length ( 10 yards ) of the pool
Class goal: perfect front crawl technique, , learn and backstroke. Swim 1 length of the pool front crawl, swim half a pool length with backstroke kick. Jump in the water and swim
For swimmers who can swim a full length of the pool.
Class goal : learn rotary breathing and backstroke arms. Swim a full length freestyle and backstroke. Tread water for 30 seconds and learn beginning diving.
